As the sun sets on a hot humid day in late August the drama of a southern Ontario sky never disappoints.

A quiet moment to enjoy the gorgeous morning light over Sunwapta Lake at the toe of the Athabasca Glacier.

On a cold day in late June the light filtered through a mix of rain and snow. Still the soft blue of Lake Louise warmed my heart.

Getting close to the water, finding a waterlily bloom looking back at you, saying “Yes, Monet was here”.

Strolling along the canal in Venice, the wind whips up, the sky turns almost black, and the water swells. The only thing to do … take a photo as the raindrops start to fall!

Visiting the Big Island, driving west as the sun is setting is like floating in a dream towards the ocean.
